Sales Account Executive

We’re an early-stage food-tech startup embarking on an exciting journey, where no two days are the same. We handle a significant number of inbound leads struggling with food safety challenges and are testing outbound sales strategies to accelerate growth.
Although our headquarters are in Europe, most of our customers come from North America and the United Kingdom.
Location?
This is a fully remote position, giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere. However, our customers are primarily in North American time zones, so working hours should align accordingly.
Who are we looking for?
We’re seeking a results-driven Account Executive (AE) with a hunter mindset who thrives on winning new business. You should be proactive, self-motivated, and passionate about showing leads how our solution can revolutionize their food safety processes.
In this role, you’ll focus on building trust with potential customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them through their buying journey—particularly important in an industry where many may be first-time buyers. Additionally, you’ll help shape our outbound sales strategies by identifying high-potential customer segments and refining outreach approaches
What will my typical day look like?
- Engaging with leads: Understand their needs and current processes to offer tailored solutions.
- Creating opportunities: Generate and qualify leads through targeted outbound activities, analyzing what works best.
- Conducting demos: Showcase our product and guide leads through trial evaluations to convert them into customers.
- Pursuing new business: Explore opportunities within key customer segments and industries.
- Closing deals: After a proper discovery with relevant people, push the leads toward closing.
- Updating CRM (HubSpot): Maintain accurate data and provide feedback to marketing and product teams.
- Collaborating with SDR to speed up the validation process.
- Collaborating with the CEO: Work closely to meet KPIs within your first 3-4 months
The job is perfect if you:
- Experience: Proven B2B sales background, ideally in tech or SaaS markets. Being part of an early-stage startup and contributing to its growth into a larger company would be a valuable bonus
- Self-starter: Comfortable working independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Proactive communicator: Confident in reaching out to prospects via phone or email.
- Mission-driven: Passionate about improving food safety and making a difference.
- Quick thinker: Bold, fast learner with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Tech-savvy: Comfortable using CRM tools, Zoom, and other sales technology.
