How to set up a new monitoring task as a checklist?
A monitoring checklist is a way of keeping track of the regular tasks. Create and assign them to your team members.
Please note: You can set up two different types of monitoring checks in FoodDocs, whether a form or a checklist.
- Form can have different inputs like choosing a product, temperature, date, etc.
- Checklists consist of written tasks that users can mark done.
In FoodDocs, you can set up any checklists and complete them in the mobile app. Most used are Cleaning Checklist, Pest Control Checklist and Opening/ Closing Checklist.
HOW TO SET IT UP?
- Log into FoodDocs.
- Click on Setup in the sidebar menu on the left.
- Go to Monitoring checks.
- In the top right corner, click on Add task.
- Name your task
- Choose to create a checklist
- Choose what the checklist is related to -> None / Rooms / Equipment.
Tip: To save time on sorting and completing the tasks with concrete rooms or equipment, relate your tasks with your company’s equipment and rooms
- For that, relate the task to the relevant room or equipment
Related to -> None/Rooms/Equipment.
- Specify the frequency of the checklist and assign it to a team role.
Please note: You can set different frequencies and assign them to different roles within one checklist.
Only team members with the same responsible role will see the task in their FoodDocs mobile app.
- After the checklist is ready, click SAVE.
- Activate Verification if you want to verify all the monitorings made by employees.
This helps to ensure your staff completes their activities according to food safety requirements.
HOW TO FILL IN MOBILE APP?
- Open a checklist under Today's activities.
- Mark as done.
- Click on three dots to add a comment or attach a file/ photo.
- Press Save.
Please note: all logs are automatically saved to your food safety dashboard under Monitoring Log.
