How to Verify Monitoring Tasks
Follow these steps to verify the monitoring task entries. Verification helps ensure that your staff complete their activities according to your requirements.
Please note: Verification is available ONLY on our desktop solution. You cannot activate or perform verification in the app.
This function is especially valuable for production companies and food service establishments with multiple departments or units. In larger teams, a Quality Assurance specialist or supervisor typically oversees the monitoring process and verifies the records.
How Verifying Works
The assigned supervisor/verifier:
- Receives an email notification about unverified tasks based on the set schedule. If a task entry is completed, it requires verification. An entry can be verified before the notification is sent—the notification simply serves as a reminder for any task entries that have not yet been verified.
- Logs into FoodDocs on the desktop using their email address and password.
- Navigates to Monitoring
- If there are entries that need to be verified, a red dot will blink next to the Verify Entries section.
- By selecting the section, a list of tasks with entries to be verified opens.
- By selecting the task, you can choose to verify all entries at once or verify them one by one.
- Once all entries are verified, the red dot will stop blinking, and when you open the section, the system will display the message 'All tasks are verified'.
Please note: once task entries are verified, they cannot be changed or deleted.
Verified Entries in Task History
This is how the verification is displayed in Task history:
- The green badge indicates that the entry is verified and cannot be changed.
- By hovering over it, you’ll see the user who verified the entry and the timestamp of when it was done.
