How to add a new business unit to your FoodDocs account?
FoodDocs enables you to choose different levels of overview, whether department- or location-based, depending on your position's need.
Tip! Adding more business units to your account enables you to have a better overview of your company's status.
In FoodDocs, you can add all your business units and have an instant food safety status overview of all your locations in one place.
Please note! This feature is available only on a desktop. It means you cannot add new business locations in our App.
Follow these steps to add a new business location to your account:
- Log into your FoodDocs account
- Go to the Setup.
- Click on Business units.
- Click on 3 grey dots and select New business unit.
- Pop up window with Changes to your subscription will come up
- Click Continue
- Add new business unit window will come up
- Input all required information
- Click SAVE
Please note: you can copy the HACCP plan and monitoring tasks from another business unit by ticking off “Copy HACCP plan from another unit”/”Copy monitoring tasks from another unit” and then selecting the business unit from the drop-down list.
- Please wait until all information migrates from one site to another site. Sometimes, it may take up to 2-3 minutes. Don’t reload the page, otherwise, some information may get lost.
- Now, a new business unit should be created and you can see it in the Overview
