How to edit monitoring tasks linked to hazards in your HACCP Plan (What, How, Who, Frequency)
Follow these steps to edit monitoring tasks linked to hazards in your HACCP plan. Linking hazards ensures that any changes to details—like frequency, name, or responsible role—are automatically updated throughout your plan.
Please note: HACCP and Monitoring setup is only available on our desktop solution. You cannot make these changes in the mobile app.
Once you've linked the monitoring task to your HACCP plan, you'll see the following information attached to it:
- WHAT – Name of the linked monitoring task
- HOW – Instructions on how to complete the task, or any other relevant information
- WHO – The responsible role assigned to complete the task
- FREQUENCY – How often the task is scheduled to be completed
Follow these easy steps to edit monitoring tasks linked to hazard in your HACCP plan:
- Log into FoodDocs
- Go to Monitoring > Settings / Monitoring tasks
- Select the specific task by clicking on its row or the three dots menu, then choose Edit.

- Make the changes according to your need
Task name = WHAT in the HACCP plan
Instructions = HOW in the HACCP plan
Frequency = FREQUENCY in the HACCP plan
Assign task to = WHO in the HACCP plan
